Track & Sign Trainings and Certifications

This is a very rare opportunity to learn, train, and then certify with the CyberTracker system. We welcome animal trackers, naturalists, and nature enthusiasts to participate in this beautiful and biodiverse location. CyberTracker is the world’s only globally-recognised certification for wildlife professionals, nature guides, and citizen scientists.

In close collaboration with Stefan Huang, these offerings are designed to meet the unique needs of those new to this process and approach by providing multiple trainings leading up to the certifications. In addition to an online training course, we offer two options for in-person certification:

透過與黃道平 (stphuang@gmail.com) 的合作, 這次活動是特別對於初次接觸 Cyber Tracker 認證考核而規劃的複合式課程, 授課方式會包含線上課程以及兩種不同的認證考核模式:


Tracking FIELD COURSE with CERTIFICATION

12-14 FEBRUARY, FUSHAN BOTANICAL GARDEN

$525 USD

Spend two days in formal training & orientation and a third day in a culminating CyberTracker certification where you can apply what you have learned. We will cover track & sign identification and interpretation including tracking principles and approaches. Our third day together will be a highly educational one-day field assessment. This will cover over 30 track & sign questions.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn a Track & Sign I certification.

時間: 2025/02/12~14 野外追蹤課程及認證考核, 地點: 福山植物園及周邊地區 

費用: 美金 525 元 (不包含活動期間的伙食, 交通與住宿)

我們會用兩天時間提供動物行跡與觀察方法完整的講解與教學, 第三天會讓大家運用所學到的追蹤知識與技巧, 舉辦一場 Cyber Tracker 認證考核. 考核內容會包含動物行跡辨識與解說能力, 追蹤的基本原則與運用. 第三天的考核會是一場非常密集並具有高知識量的教學與實地測驗活動, 考核一共會有 30 道題目, 依完全依照現場實際狀況而定. 通過考核後會獲得 "動物行跡" 第一級認證.




TWO-DAY STANDARD TRACK & SIGN CERTIFICATION

15-16 FEBRUARY, FUSHAN BOTANICAL GARDEN

$425 USD

This is the classic design of two full field days in which we ask over 50 questions on wildlife tracks and sign. Each question will be thoroughly reviewed and used as a teaching opportunity to builds upon participants’ field experience throughout this third day. In the end, by comparing all that we have seen to the many other species possibilities, we will have discussed far more species than those whose tracks and signs we have encountered.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn a Track & Sign I, II, II, or Professional certification

標準動物行跡認證考核

時間: 2025/2/15~16, 地點: 福山植物園及周邊地區

費用: 美金 425 元 (不包含活動期間的伙食, 交通與住宿)

這是完整兩天在野外進行全球一致的標準考核模式, 一共會有超過 50 道關於野生動物行跡的考題, 在這兩天的考核過程中, 講師會會跟受試者深入討論每一道考題, 並藉此提升受試者的實務經驗. 透過比對, 討論各種可能的動物行跡, 整個考核過程可能涵蓋的物種範圍會遠多過於我們在現場看到的.   

通過考的受試者, 將有機會獲得 "動物行跡" 第一, 二, 三, 四級認證, 第四級認證又稱為 "專家級認證".

Online course: Wildlife tracking in Taiwan

JAnuary

This course is available to anyone wanting to prepare for the upcoming courses and certifications by creating or building on their animal tracking skills. These two-hour sessions will provide foundational experience with concepts for tracking as well as getting to know common animal tracks & signs of Taiwanese wildlife. Each session will leave you with some ways to integrate the learning into your own outdoor surroundings. We highly encourage anyone participating in the field courses to join us if possible.

線上課程: 台灣的野生動物追蹤

一月舉辦

線上課程是開放給有興趣參加二月份課程與考核的人, 透過線上課程來建構野生動物追蹤的基本技能. 每堂課程時間大約兩小時, 內容包含動物追蹤的基本觀念, 台灣野生動物的行跡辨識. 每堂課都能跟你所處的戶外環境相結合. 我們非常鼓勵參與戶外課程或追蹤師考核的人盡可能地參與線上課程.
